Set in New York City in 1990, it tells the story of Jon, a 29-year-old waiter and aspiring composer who is running out of time to make his mark in the theater world. As he works on his sci-fi musical Superbia, he faces pressure from his girlfriend, his best friend, and his own doubts about his life choices.
